While Hoot was chasing the notorious bank robber The Fox, his horse finds the Fox's costume, and for fun Hoot dressed up like the Fox. One of the delivery men, thinking Hoot was the Fox, gives him the strong box with the town's pay roll, so Hoot Kloot has to bring it back to the bank while dressed up like the Fox. The real Fox has another idea.

Mesa Trouble 1974

Big Red is coming to Cactus Goat to give revenge on Hoot Kloot for sending him to the river. Hoot tried to get help from townsfolk, but everybody refuses, because they're afraid of Big Red.

Saddle Soap Opera 1974

Hoot Kloot and Fester arrives at San Francisco to bring Judge Sayabe (the hanging judge) back to Cactus Goat. Unfortunately for the judge, Hoot Kloot goofs up along the way and the judge gets blown up, run over by a train, and falls down the cliff. They eventually return to the Cactus Goat, with the judge making a certain sheriff his enemy. Last "Hoot Kloot" cartoon.

For Almost Forgotten Stories 1994

A somewhat dark and surreal tale by Naoyuki Tsuji. Our protagonist sets out on a journey in a world which starts at The Gate of Confusion. To complete his travels, he must meet various strange characters to relieve himself of his burdens and set himself free.

Ident 1990

Explores the nature of man, not only with feet of clay, but with a face of clay as well. Within a colorless city of walls, corridors, and small rooms, a man makes his way from home to work, then to a bar, and then, by a stroke of luck, into an outdoors of space, fresh air, and color. Along the way, he changes his face to fit his surroundings, interacts with his dog, argues with co-workers, and gossips at a bar. His altering of his visage suggests a two-faced nature, and his stepping into the outdoors provides the ultimate test of his real identity.

The Apprentice 1991

Medieval times. A jester is heading to the castle, but can't help running into a fruit tree in his path. Again and again. After a while, he lands nose-down and when he gets up, his nose remains stuck in the ground. He gives up, and we see that "wise" people aren't faring much better. He returns to his master, who gives him a replacement nose and sets off on an easier path.
